University publishes report on latest round of consultation for NW Cambridge
Date: 06/01/2010

Following an extensive round of public and stakeholder consultation, the University of Cambridge has published a report, which will now help take the masterplanning process forward for the North West Cambridge site.

In November 2009, the University held two public exhibition days and a public workshop where members of the public got to talk to experts and discuss issues around the development such as transport and sustainability, and hear about the masterplanning process so far. The public exhibitions were attended by over 230 people.

The University also held two days of stakeholder workshops - for relevant groups with an interest in the development, including representatives from the local and County Councils, residents associations, and special interest groups. The workshops allowed potential constraints, opportunities and aspirations for the development to be thoroughly examined by interested parties.

The report details the key findings from the consultation process which will now be taken forward to help inform the masterplanning process.
