Project timetable over the next few years

This page gives you an initial outline of the timetable for seeking planning permission up until 2011.
 
In particular it highlights the periods when we will be actively seeking your views on our proposals as they progress, although we are keen to hear your thoughts and suggestions throughout the whole process.
 
Because of the complex nature of major projects, there may well be changes to the timetable so we will keep updating this and keep you informed if and when there are any amendments.

October to November 2009: Extensive public and stakeholder consultation on master plan proposals.
Summer 2009 to summer 2010: The University will produce and consult on a revised master plan, based upon the approved AAP development footprint.
October 2009: AAP will be adopted as policy by Cambridge City Council and South Cambridgeshire District Council
Summer 2009 to summer 2010: University will produce and consult on a revised master plan, based upon the approved AAP (Area Action Plan) development footprint. Extensive public and stakeholder consultation on proposals during October and November.
Winter 2010 - Spring 2011: Subject to approval by Regent House, the University will submit an outline planning application to the planning authorities for consideration.
Summer to Autumn 2010: Master plan and overall outline planning application will be considered for approval by University.
Early 2011: Planning authorities will formally consult on the outline application
Summer 2010: University will produce outline planning application, based upon the master plan.
Summer 2011: If the planning authorities support our proposals then outline planning permission will be granted, subject to conditions.
