The masterplanning proposals for the University of Cambridge’s North West Cambridge site are moving forward. To continue the success of this collaborative process we have been working with the wider community to hear their views of the emerging masterplan.
In November 2009 we held a Public Exhibition as well as Public Workshops (click here for details). These exhibitions and workshop formed the next stage in the process of preparing the masterplan for the site - and provided an opportunity for stakeholders to contribute and comment on the proposals.
Whether or not you were able to visit the exhibition and workshop in person, you can download the information that was on display by clicking the buttons below:

- Masterplan Development
-
The planning process - where it has come from, and where it will be going, including how the process will engage with all stakeholders, including local authorities and residents.
- The Evolution of the Masterplan
-
How plans for the North West Cambridge site have evolved so far - showing how it has grown to meet the needs of all stakeholders. Plans highlight how the project is developing.

- Key Issues: Mix of uses & Density
-
The mix of uses will be focused in 4 key areas throughout the site: the local centre, one area for predominantly student accommodation, and two areas for research uses. This document outlines the density of various 'uses' within the project.
- Addressing some local concerns (FAQs)
-
Questions and answers covering a variety of different issues that are relevant to various stakeholders.
