New, quality housing for University staff

As the University continues to grow its research funding there is a need to increase the number of research staff. The North West Cambridge development will provide much needed key worker housing for University staff, the majority of whom will be research workers and support staff.

The housing at North West Cambridge will be divided equally between key worker and private housing. This means that there will be up to 1500 new homes provided for University staff. This new housing will help to off-set the current shortage in affordable accommodation in the city which in turn will have a positive impact both on staff recruitment and retention.
